Turn My Head With Talk of Summertime

Collecting strange books once again
forces me to transition mindsets
-School is a good thing. Really.-
And the summer has been so perfect
that my imagination is throwing a tantrum
in the middle of the parking lot
because she doesn't want
to get in the van and go.
All-out, all the screams and squeals
until some other part of me is afraid
she'll break my neck
because of all the head-flinging.
The park was fun
and I hope heaven has sunny,
cool evenings naked,
novels-and-movies galore,
walks around the block at dusk.
She's climbing into the van,
growling and bruised.
Will it move before she's sat down and buckled up?

school is important. it is. really. a must have. good for the mind. good for life. will make paychecks fatter. makes you smart.

All things we have to tell our imaginations. But just let your's know that school will be over in just a few years (or sooner?)

In about a year, actually. And it starts on Monday. I've got about nine classes left to take, plus a couple of electives I want to take, just for fun. Like photography and automotives.
