Among other things (like raiding bookstores, spoiling ourselves by eating out a lot, and enjoying our luxurious hotel room), I got my wedding ring cleaned for free today at the jeweler where I had it designed. It seemed appropriate. I was expecting the band to show a significant difference, but the stone shows the most noticeable difference. It shines and sparklea once more, and I can't stop holding my hand out and admiring it.
For those who don't know, my wedding ring is a plain silver band with a triangle-shaped aquamarine set into it. Really simple, and yet the setting it such that there's space between the stone and the band; the stone is suspended by three prongs, each at a tip of the triangle. Can anyone remind me of the name of that shaped stone? I knew once upon a time, but it's been a year.
