Grey and drizzly,
and I feel the same way inside.
As usual, little explanation
and plenty of speculation
on causes and effects
of the drizzle inside.
Naps help,
as do hot cups of chocolate
but this is a day
where I lay in a ball
covered in blankets, dressed in browns
and my snow-white shawl
and just stare.
Occasional thought flickers by.
I can't tell how much time has walked past me.
I am productive today;
I can make a list of things I did
to contribute to the world today,
but I feel like a standing-still stream
that never looks like it's moving
'till you stare at it long enough.
I hope it won't last long,
but I don't care if it lasts forever.
