The faucet in the bathroom on this floor is musical. It leaks, and every drip is a different note. It's accompanied by a loud creak every time the door to the bathroom is opened. Highly amusing.
I'm reading in the newspaper about a criminal and his attempted robbery that led to a chase throughout town: "The drama unfolded at about noon on Thursday when Matthews knocked on a rear door of a house, according to a statement from the sheriff's office. When a man opened the door, Matthews pulled out a handgun and demanded the resident's wallet, the sheriff's department said. The man, who was unhurt, refused to comply and shut the door. Matthews ran from the house, jumped into a green Ford sedan driven by 34-year-old Debra Lee Jensen of Washington Terrace and sped off, the statement said. The homeowner called 911 and gave a good description of Matthews and the car."
I love that. When someone knocks on your door and demands your wallet, just close the door and walk away.
